We understand that it isn't always possible to travel to receive care, which is why we are happy to bring quality care straight to you or any venue of your choosing. The only thing to consider for a massage space is if the building/area is reasonably private and safe for all parties. 


Massage therapy is a treatment that involves the manipulation of soft tissues in the body, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It is often used to promote relaxation, relieve stress, and alleviate pain.


Massage therapy can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve circulation, relieve pain and tension, and promote relaxation and overall well-being.


The frequency of your massage sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some people may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may only need one every few months. Your therapist can help you determine the best schedule for you.


Before your session, please bathe yourself as close to your appointment time as possible. This reduces many risks for all parties. During your first visit, you will complete paperwork and have a consultation to discuss your needs/preferences before your massage begins. Throughout the session, it is highly advised to communicate your comfort level and other pertinent information to the therapist - this is to ensure quality care for all parties. 


While the first session is the foundation for your healing journey, the ensuing sessions have a handful of considerations as well. Please make sure you have showered as close to your appointment time as possible as this reduces many risks for all parties. There will also be paperwork we ask that you complete before each session. 


It is highly recommended to avoid strenuous activity and drink heavy amounts of water, as there can be stiffness and soreness following a massage, especially if it's your first. This soreness is a byproduct of releasing the 'tension' (buildup of lactic acid) and perfectly normal after a massage. Please advise us and your primary care provider straight away should you begin to feel excessive amounts of pain or other concerning effects.
